My husband and I had the privilege to spend 48 hours in St. Augustine, Florida, for our sixth wedding anniversary. This trip was precisely the weekend getaway that we needed. Especially since we decided to include our three-year-old daughter.

Living in Florida can make me very antsy for winter. The heat is overwhelming, and I was desperately craving snow and cold weather. The good news is that I was able to fulfill my cravings with a short flight to Sugar Grove, NC, where my family and I had a fantastic time.
We are officially home from vacation and back to our regular routine. Truthfully, we were sad to leave Sugar Grove, NC, but very thankful for all the beautiful memories we made. From the weather, to the snow and extended time with my family. It was the best five days, and I am so grateful to have done it with my Little Penny.
This year for my husband’s birthday, we decided to celebrate in the fabulous New York City. Every time we visit the Big Apple it’s so much fun, and this time it was no different! Of course, this trip was even more memorable since it was a family vacation!
